Mrs. Monce is starting off the year with a health-and-wellness challenge for all Jefferson Spartans and their families. For August the challenge is to walk/run for 20 minutes at least 3 days a week!

United Way volunteers from Winona Lake Grace Brethren Church (WLGBC) delivered 100 backpacks of back-to-school supplies to Jefferson Elementary School today. These school supplies will be given to our students who are most in need. We appreciate the generosity of United Way and WLGBC in supporting kids in our school system.

This week the Warsaw Inquiry Learning Lab will be at the Tools for Schools event at the fairgrounds on Thursday, August 5th to be used as a mobile registration site for families who still need to register and/or need some help with either the process or need access to a device or Internet. Staff will also be available to assist with the process and answer questions.

If you are coming to Meet the Principal tonight, you will enter through the gym lobby doors (Door 15) or around back by the door closest to the playground (Door 9). Doors will open at 5:15.

We can help your child complete their eLearning assignments in a safe and fun environment!

If you do, please bring them to the Meet the Principal event, Back to School Night (date to be announced), or send them in with your student. Look for a drop-off area in the gym lobby. Thanks!
Voluntary iPad Insurance (Accidental Damage Protection) is available for purchase now through 08/31/2021 for all K–12th students in Warsaw Community Schools. While this is not required, we HIGHLY recommend purchasing this protection, as even small repairs are costly without insurance. At only $25/device, this protection plan is well worth the cost.

As you begin to slowly think about Back to School and what still fits your child[ren] and what doesn't, we're kindly asking that you consider donating any gently used gym shoes to the school. You can even bring them to Meet the Principal Night, if you want. This helps our little Spartan Family tremendously. Thanks for considering!
Mrs. Monce, our incredible P.E. teacher, would like to remind all families that dedicated gym shoes (not shoes worn to school) will be required, starting the first day of school. Our gym floor was replaced over the summer, and it will be very important to take good care of it by what we wear on top of it.
