Starting Monday, we will begin our Jefferson STEM 2021 Caterpillar Challenge!
The dates for collecting monarch caterpillars will run from Aug. 23rd to Sept. 7th. (A picture of one was on the handout sent home with your student.) Students should bring them to the display case by the STEM Lab first thing in the morning.
As they become butterflies, we plan to tag them before releasing them for their migration to Mexico.
Also, if anyone has milkweed, we'd appreciate some fresh stalks with leaves daily. If you have any questions, contact Mr. Scott .

Your Specials teachers will have containers available just outside the main-entrance lobby during Back-to-School Night (Thursday from 4–5pm) for the items they requested, such as gently used gym shoes (P.E.), pool noodles & books (Digital Learning), ping pong balls & clean plastic lids & plastic bowling sets (Music), and just about EVERYTHING that can be upcycled for 3D projects (Art).
