Jefferson Elementary was recently identified as a certified STEM school for the state of Indiana. This means the school works to incorporate Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math into our already outstanding core curriculum.

Through our STEM integration, there will be projects that take place throughout the school year in all grade levels. Students in all grades will also focus on the pillars of lakes and streams and green energy.

Through our STEM initiatives, Jefferson Elementary School has established fantastic partnerships within our local community. These partners help provide ideas, volunteers, and financial support for projects throughout the building. These partnerships include:

  • DaLite/Legrand

  • Kosciusko County Soil and Water Conservation District

  • Lilly Center for Lakes and Streams

  • The Watershed Foundation

  • Kosciusko County Solid Waste Management District / KC Recycling

  • Big Picture Imagery
