Here's your Sunday reminder that tomorrow morning (Monday the 23rd) we will host the Class of 2022 Senior Breakfast for our former 6th-grade Spartans in the Jefferson Cafeteria, beginning at 9am. We can't wait to see all of you!

Today is FRIDAY, May 20, 2022. Lunch: Chicken leg with blueberry muffin or yogurt meal, broccoli with cheese, cold tropic juice, choice of fruit, and milk. Activities: 5th grade is going on a field trip, 9:30-12. 3rd grade Science Central Wild Weather Demo, 9:30-10. 2nd grade Science Central Wild Weather Demo, 10:15-10:45. Mr. Andrews class is fishing from 1-2. 5th grade going on a hike, 1:30-3:30. 3rd grade Ecosystem Explorer Showcase, 2:30-3:30. CITY TRACK MEET @WCHS, 5:15.

It's the end of the year, but learning isn't over yet! Parents are invited to come to the 3rd Grade's Ecosystem Explorers Showcase today (Friday) from 2:30–3:30pm in the school cafeteria.

Today is Thursday, May 19, 2022. Lunch: Tony's cheese pizza or turkey sandwich, steamed corn, fresh veggie mix, fresh oranges, graham crackers, and milk. Activities: 6th grade to Lakeview for tour, 9:15-11:15; Citizen of the Month fishing, 1:05-2:05; Mrs. Luchenbill's class Rainforest Presentations, 2:30-3; Track practice after school until 5:30.

Today is Wednesday, May 18, 2022. Lunch: Chicken Bites, PBJ Meal, mashed potatoes, fresh carrots, pears, and choice of milk. Activities: 3rd grade wetlands visit; Cherry Creek for 6th grade has been cancelled; 1st grade Rainforest Presentations from 2:30-2:55.

Did you know that we collect gently used gym shoes? As we come to the end of another school year, please consider donating your child's outgrown gym shoes to Jefferson to pass along to a child in need. Thank you!

Today is Monday, May 16, 2022—Late-Arrival Day. Lunch: Bosco Sticks with marinara sauce or Yogurt Meal, celery sticks, baked beans, choice of fruit, sugar cookie, and milk. Activities: 6th grade dissecting sharks; Track practice after school until 5:30.

Please remember to use the Box Tops for Education app that allows you to scan your store receipts and earn CASH for Jefferson! No more cutting little rectangles off of packages! All you have to do is take a photo of your receipts, and the app does the work to calculate our school's earnings. It's super easy!

Activities: Kindergarten Hike with the Lilly Center, 9:30-11:30; 4th grade to the Gene Stratton-Porter House, 9:15-2:30; 3rd grade Bicycle Rodeo at WCC, 12:45-2:45; Mrs. Welch's class to the park at 12:25.
