Job Title:  Executive Director

Responsible to:  Warsaw Education Foundation Board of Directors

Location: Warsaw Community Schools Administration Building

Position Type: Contractor – Permanent

 Summary of Position

The Executive Director is responsible for overseeing the administration and strategic plan of the Warsaw Education Foundation. This includes the supervision of all board members and their respective responsibilities along with programs and events provided for the community and our schools.

 Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • To develop and maintain a strong community outreach.

  • Oversee the fundraising events and ensure a strong turnout and good sponsorship.

  • Market the foundation within the community by speaking at events, creating news releases, and distributing materials to our schools.

  • Coordinate board-related meetings including the agenda, Executive Director report, and topics.

  • Manage the Red Apple Grant program by promoting within the schools and ensuring a successful grant cycle.

  • Oversee the Honor an Educator program.

  • Maintain the Warsaw Education Foundation website and keep all information up to date.

  • Handle the creation and distribution of the annual report.

  • Continue to develop and grow the board of directors by recruiting new members.

  • Ensures all board member contributions are made each year.

The Executive Director position is approximately 15-20 hours per month and the monthly salary is $1,100.
