Amazon and Carpet Depot Partner Donate $8,000 in Coats, Hats, and Gloves to Jefferson Elementary

WARSAW, IN - Jefferson Elementary School is celebrating an incredible act of generosity thanks to a new partnership between Amazon and Carpet Depot. A grant written by Judy Ness of Carpet Depot made it possible for the school to receive $8,000 worth of winter coats, hats and gloves for students who need them most.
This donation will make a direct impact on Jefferson families by ensuring students have warm, dependable winter gear. It also highlights the strong connection between local businesses and the community they continue to support.
Judy Ness, owner of Carpet Depot, shared her gratitude for the chance to give back. “I’m grateful for the opportunity to partner with Amazon to offer the coats for the students. We are a local business and this community supports us each and every day, and I feel blessed to donate to Jefferson School and to our community.”
Scott Wiley, Community Engagement Specialist for the Kosciusko Chamber of Commerce added, “Judy is one of our great chamber members and it’s great to see this. We have a very philanthropic community and I’m proud to live in a community like ours.”
“We are incredibly thankful for this generous partnership between Carpet Depot and Amazon," shared Josh Wall, Principal, Jefferson Elementary. “Judy’s heart for our students and our community shines through in everything she does. These coats, hats and gloves will make an immediate and meaningful difference for our Jefferson Spartans as we enter the winter season. We are blessed to have community partners who care so deeply about our kids and their well-being.”
