Jefferson Elementary Hosts Annual Cultural Heritage Night
WARSAW, IN - Jefferson Elementary School recently hosted its annual Cultural Heritage Night, welcoming families, students and staff to learn about and honor the diverse cultural backgrounds represented within the school community. The evening included cultural displays, traditional foods, music and live performances.
Principal Joshua Wall expressed appreciation for the collaboration and participation that made the event possible. “This night truly showcases the heart of Jefferson: culture, community and connection. Seeing our families share their heritage with such pride was incredibly meaningful,” said Wall.
Special thanks to Kelly Basalo, Christine Fields and Jennifer McCammon for organizing the event, as well as Xochitl Cervantes for coordinating setup and logistics. Jefferson also recognized Fabiola Núñez for arranging traditional dancers who provided live cultural entertainment for attendees.
